Mytom™ SOUND Deluxe Sleep Mask

Used it a couple of times now, really like it. The fabric is thick and soft, super comfortable. It rolls up and I can put it in the carry case to keep it clean.

I was somewhat dubious when I ordered this sleep mask. However, I fell in love with it almost right way. It did take me a couple of nights to get used to the width of the strap, but now I like it much better than the this elastic straps that I had in previous sleep masks. On top of being more comfortable, as it is a discreet velcro adjustment it will never 'loose it's elasticity' like stretchy straps do. I'm a side sleeper, and I really thought the speakers would be uncomfortably noticeable. But, thanks to the soft padding, they are actually quite discreet and don't cause any discomfort once you get used to them. The placement of the speakers can easily be adjusted and rarely shift out of place, so night after night I just slip on the mask and play my calm sleep story (which now does not disturb my wife as only I can hear it, and I can hear it clearly and comfortably). Also, it covers my eyes very well and grants total darkness without feeling stuffy or pressing against my eyes like elastic masks can, and even on my side no light seeps through. I think the normal version is great value for money, and I mine as that. However, I did opt for the white noise version and I don't feel I got the value from the additional cost. The concept is great and switching between Bluetooth mode and white noise mode is relatively easy. But, although the selection and variety of sounds is good, as is their quality, many of them are just 3-5 second audio clips on a loop (then on repeat after a few minutes of looped recording playback), which is agonisingly noticeable and too unbearable to fall asleep (or even relax) to. Had these sounds been taken/recorded for 10-12, or better yet 15, seconds and that was on a loop for a few minutes then on repeat, then the extra cost would be more than worthwhile (I'd even happily pay more). But as it stands, I was quite disappointed with this feature and would welcome any available "update" to the pre-loaded white-noise recordings. Also, a usb-c connector would be a worthwhile upgrade to this device (especially if the ability to load soundtracks or update the pre-loaded tracks was to be implemented), as the micro-usb is now somewhat outdated and quite inconvenient.

This Sleep Mask is the BEST! Really comfortable, can't feel the speakers when on my side. It's was easy to pair with my phone . The sound is great and easy to adjust. I'm pleased I bought this and not one of the cheaper brands, this mask is superior quality and I know will last. Plus I'm experiencing deeper lasting sleep.

After my previous Mytomband's speakers stopped working just before Christmas (I think a broken connection), I was thrilled to get the deluxe version as a replacement. I much prefer it to the basic band, and the option of the 3 hour switch off is a bonus, as there is the odd time when a 2 hour setting isn't quite long enough. Thankfully this doesn't happen often and I generally fall asleep within the 1 hour setting I tend to use. It's a genius piece of kit and I always recommend to friends who, like me, suffer from bouts of insomnia.
